For those of you lucky enough to secure tickets to this year's sell-out edition of Q-dance's Defqon.1 festival, there is one set that stands out more than any others that weekend: The Neophyte Records Allstars (Neophyte, Evil Actitivites, Tha Playah, Panic, The Viper, Kasparov and MC Jeff). Those in attendance knew from the anticipation before the set, and electricity in the air as they climbed on stage that what was about to be witnessed was something that would go down as a monumental moment in the history books of hardcore. From the first beat of the first record, to the screams of the crowd as the last one finished, the Black arena was on fire. Fists were pumping, feet were jumping, and beats thundered through the air.
